In short, I previously owned an RTX 3080 Ti and an i7-10700K with 32GB RAM. I’m not sure what settings I used, but it seems to have been set to high or ultra with the RTX enabled. It never crashed, even when launching the game immediately after installation. I stopped playing for about two months before upgrading my PC to an RTX 4080 i9 13900K with 64GB RAM and 6400MHz RAM. After a short while, it would crash without any error messages. The game ran smoothly at ultra settings, without stuttering or low FPS. I haven’t played many other demanding games yet, so I can’t say for sure if others would experience issues. For example, CS:GO, CS2, Phasmophobia, Demonologist, and Remain 2 are all running well. Thanks in advance.
The top CPU model reached 81C while the GPU performance was around 70C.
I completed a stress test and everything worked out. I had to lower the voltage on the i9 13900k by 0.065 because the CPU was getting too hot after several weeks of use. The Cinebench score came in at 41k, and the PSU is rated for 1000w.
I just put in cyberpunk and ran it on Ultra Everything, but it didn’t crash—I don’t know why Hogwarts Legacy keeps crashing.
Cyberpunk on Ultra doesn’t crash, right? Should I keep trying it?
