I clicked the start button in Windows 8.1 and saw a brief hint saying "Start." I already recognize it as the main start button and want to remove it. On another point, I need to turn on the feature that shows all administrator tools when I right-click the start button. Instead of the usual options, I see just "Properties" and "Open File Explorer."

I don't believe either of these options are feasible with the start being back. I reviewed all the possibilities and couldn't locate one. You can open the tools menu by right-clicking in the bottom left corner of the start screen. The start word appears only when you hover over it. I wasn't aware this was a feature until I read this.

It worked out—there was a way to keep the advanced context menu open all the time. The issue with the "Start" text remains unclear, but it’s not a major problem.
