All intended parts to keep the metal bracket inside the laptop's touchscreen to the plastic frame are damaged. It seems there are no visible screw holes. I suspect it might have been secured with melted plastic fasteners. Please forgive the sparse details in my message, but everything that is broken is made of plastic. Is there a method to fix this bracket? Am I mistaken about the absence of screws or at least screw holes? Should I use superglue and cotton?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
2-in-1 devices are tricky to repair because the screen is usually held together by plastic clips inside the frame. Fixing it means getting a fresh bezel and hinges, which can cost more than buying a brand-new laptop. You can find these parts on Ebay or through Part-People.

And still, every broken thing is made of plastic, and I have no reason to lose. In the worst case, I’ll just swap the screen out.

Hi darksloth, I'm also dealing with the same problem and shared my experience about the hinge issue. You can try this on your own; hopefully it helps. I've attached a picture of the loose hinge—just hold that screw and loosen it with something. Check the link for the image: https://snipboard.io/sqDK0O.jpg
