All details are provided below. Your storage unit isn’t showing up when you install it in the top NVMe port, but it works when placed in the lower right slot. I’ve updated the BIOS and reinstalled the drive. Also, since it was on the top port it felt warm, suggesting power was reaching it, though the board didn’t recognize it. What should I do? CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB NVMe M.2 Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi 6 & updated to version 1601 Power Supply: ASUS ROG STRIX 850W Gold Updated September 30, 2022 by HueyLewy

The 10th generation CPUs offer fewer PCIe lanes compared to the 11th generation models. Consequently, systems built for the 11th generation won't support M.2 slots when using the 10th generation components. This is expected and standard.

I also had a SAMSUNG 870 QVO SATA 2TB installed, and the motherboard recognized it. During my troubleshooting, I removed it entirely. The absence of the NVMe detection didn’t change the outcome.
