I completely grasp your concern, but the issues I observe in other reference PCs online (those that are inferior to mine) significantly outperform what my system should achieve. I question whether they've turned off all those features, and indeed, I've disabled every startup application. Apart from a very quick boot time, nothing seems to improve.
I've experimented with various methods and recently found DLDSR useful. I try to run at 1440p on a 1080p screen to boost performance, but results haven't changed much.
