The high-end rig continues to trigger a critical_process_died error.
Hello there - I need some guidance. My computer crashes and displays a critical_process_died message each time I launch a game. I’m fine with browsing, editing, and creating videos without trouble, but any game causes the system to freeze. My hardware specs are: Ryzen 5950X, Asus ROG Crosshair VIII, Hero X570, motherboard from Asus, AORUS RTX™ 3080 Ti, XTREME WB 12G with Liquid Metal and Gelid Solutions GP-Ultimate 15W thermal pads. I also have Corsair HX1000i power supply with a custom water loop, and a Samsung 980 Pro SSD in RAID with Seagate IronWolf 8TB. I’ve updated the BIOS, motherboard drivers, and graphics drivers. I rewired the GPU riser, replaced cables, reset RAM, CPU, and power cables, and reinstalled Windows after a night of updates. Ran SFC/scannow before and after installation, and used Samsung Magician to check the boot drive for bad sectors—no issues found. Temperatures logged via HWinfo64 look normal. I’m not overclocking and keep RAM at 3600MHz with all voltages auto-managed. If anyone has suggestions on what to try next, I’d really appreciate it. video-1656257351.mp4 temp log.CSV
