I bought this game on Steam, Hi-Fi RUSH , and I was pretty confident that it would run on my PC based on the system requirements, but I was sadly (kinda) wrong. When I started the game, the title loaded just fine until I got a popup: The UE4-Hibiki game has crashed with the message Fatal error . The logs say this is the error message: Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION . As far as I know, the problem is with my CPU's AVX (or more like the lack thereof). I have found some really useful posts and comments (like this and this ) from back when the game was released, and I saw someone play the game without an AVX CPU. After this, I downloaded the oldest release of the game with the Steam console, replaced the files with the old ones, and the game surprisingly works. I don't really know how much I would miss out on this singleplayer game without playing the newest version (except for 1-2 major updates and bug fixes). I will try a bit later versions of the game soon. I really like this game, but I might ask for a refund on Steam if I can't find a good solution.
