I need laptops, this one and another with a soldered 4GB 2400 MHz 8th gen. I own two 4GB 2400 units and an 2133. What’s best to reach around 16 GB? Should I go for two 8GB 2133s and keep the 16 GB with the soldered module, or mix one 4GB 2400 and one 16 GB 2133, then buy a faster stick for the other laptop? Also, should stick makers be compatible?
Two options available: 2 sets of 8 or one set of 4 and one set of 16.
The top spot for purchasing RAM varies by needs; Amazon can be suitable depending on your requirements. Dual RAM offers two slots for expanded capacity, while single rank provides one slot for simpler setups.
