Are you making a joke? It seems I’ve got the worst luck on Earth... My motherboard and chipset heatsink has an overreaching PCI-E slot, making it impossible to connect the GPU. It won’t fit further left and the contacts don’t align properly. This is completely ridiculous... Who designed a motherboard that wouldn’t let you plug in a GPU? It’s not even an affordable PCI-E slot and it’s marketed for gaming. What’s going on? This is confusing! There’s no way to know beforehand, there’s no specification about this. If the motherboard has an X16 PCI-E slot it would fit, but this one is completely flawed. It’s hard to believe...
Are you seeking clarification or just sharing an update? What's the heat sink?
Does this component obstruct the video card? If yes, likely the best solution is taking out the video card backplate. But that's not ideal.
The device features an X16 port. It's possible you're using the incorrect connection.

Yes it is this piece, there are screws on it, i unscrewed them and still can't take that corner off. Yet it is too slim don't know if that would make difference. And i am not sure you can do that, or how. I read manual and i don't think there is anything about it, gonna look again and google. Yeah but don't you have to account for that, doesn't every gpu from 2060 have this, this is gaming mobo you know... Thing is i/o shield is screwed from top to down, so even if i unmounted mobo, i couldn't possibly to take that off. These corners which have 2 screws, i unscrewed them, but still they don't go off, they are holding very firmly. I don't think you can even take these off... Yeah it is holding on something in there and i tried slightly pull and already heard screeching sound, so i wouldn't pull it. It seems like it is mounted to something inside yet... I will have to sell this and get new one + yet trouble everything unpluging and dismounting again GEEZ... LOL aparently there is gpu compatibility list and my isn't listed there, i didn't even have clue gpu compatiblity list exists. I read even books how to build pc and saw many videos and articles, never even in one i heard mentioning it. Because usually only thing it matters if it is pci-e x16 and every mobo has that........................
