Microphone on the headset functions with discord and obs, but not in steam games; it captures pc audio instead. This issue began some time ago, whenever I use a 3.5mm microphone in steam games, it doesn't work properly, but I can still hear pc audio like game sounds or YouTube.

I've attempted everything except reinstalling the driver; it seems the microphone functions properly in Steam settings, but produces static noise during games and audio output from the headset remains affected.
