Well... if you move the drive out and place it in another external housing, you could possibly check if it functions properly. I question its chances, but it might be worth a shot. The information on it seems to have disappeared.

I follow the 1-2-3 method, and sometimes add a fourth step because my computer is essential for work. A bit of OCD helps too.

My available resources are restricted onboard, which suits my preference for minimal luggage. Still, I recognize your point. Having a secondary HDD at home is essential moving forward.
