The GTX 970's core clock is set to 405mhz.

I was just using Forza Horizon 3 when my FPS dropped right away. After checking everything, I realized my GPU clock speed never exceeded 405 MHz, which is likely causing the FPS drop. How can I fix this? What options do I have? Also, I wasn’t oc'ing or changing any graphics settings, so I don’t think that was the cause.

it seems the issue was resolved, a fresh install of graphics drivers cleared it up

Everything was functioning properly before, and now it began. You haven't modified any software or hardware. Could you share your GPU temperatures and the complete specifications of your PC?
