I recently purchased a GTX 970, it functions well for most games...but not in battlefield. It runs smoothly overall, though the graphics card in battlefield began experiencing issues. When I aim quickly and right-click, my mouse disconnects from the game and opens a desktop menu. This occurs in both windowed and fullscreen modes, though less often in windowed. I’m using three monitors, and I’ve tested various settings. On one monitor the problem was minimal, but with two monitors off it became frequent. It usually happens every ten minutes, and since the monitor occupied my whole screen, it would restart the game when I interacted with it. I’m not using surround sound because I dislike having the taskbar in the middle, and I also can’t watch videos side by side. Playing in windowed mode was the only time it didn’t interfere with my viewing experience. This issue is bothering me a lot, especially since Battlefield 3 is one of my favorite PC games. I’m hoping someone can find a solution because it’s really frustrating.

It seems to be more of a software problem than a hardware one... likely unrelated to your graphics card at all. Try turning off the Windows button if possible.

no I think it may be the drivers but I dont know how to tell if it is or not or if it just started happening when I got my graphics card, I was already pretty sure it wasnt the card. I guess I will need to wait until a driver update and see if that fixes it and go from there.
