The GTA Steam edition isn't functioning properly.
When I noticed the 360 edition arriving for PC, I was excited about the fresh reflections and shaders. However, I missed some of the game's top tracks. After launching the game, I saw the new 1080p resolution, but it lacked advanced reflections and sharper visuals, leaving me mostly disappointed. No one else seems to have shared this experience yet.
The latest update brings improvements to the original GTA SA experience, including enhanced visuals and performance. The texture pack adds richer details, and the game now fully supports 1080p resolution. New features and bug fixes are included for a smoother playtime.
but i don't have the cd, and i forgot to turn off updates before it was too late. also, you had to tweak the files a bit to make it work in 1080p before. that's the simplest way to see you've updated the game—now it has native HD hud, improved shaders, lightning effects, draw distance (which is moddable), better textures, and some bug fixes.
Sure, I began playing it again in November, after I had previously competed before the update.
That's confusing, but once you've done it before on Xbox and Android, it should be straightforward now.
I dislike the Steam edition—it completely ruined it. My old GTA SA files won’t work anymore.
