I recently realized I created a Playfire account about three years ago. I fell victim to a phishing attempt via an Xbox Live spam email. After attempting to remove my account within a month, I found it difficult to do so on my own. It became inactive over time. Reviewing my account details, I decided to return to Playfire to explore my options today. When trying to log in, the site prompted me to sign in using my Green Man Gaming account. I remember purchasing Arkham Origins from Green Man Gaming last summer as a first-time purchase. I wasn’t aware that Playfire and GMG were linked in this way. Considering how I was tricked on XBL and forced to create a Playfire account, I’m concerned about the security of my information across these platforms. I discovered a discussion thread and submitted a request to delete my Playfire account. I’m unsure what results will come up. https://playfire.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Do you have any experience with this site? What risks do I face, and is data on GMG secure? Yes, I’ve encountered similar issues here. https://forums.playfire.com/general-disc...endesk.com
