It appears to be located in the MSI Center Live update. The warranty shouldn't lapse. Otherwise, I'd assume it's still valid.
I just tested the GPU on another machine... and everything seems to be working properly. My confusion is hard to describe. What should I do next?
So here’s the situation now... I have GPU A and GPU B, along with Computer 1 and Computer 2. A plus one equals Fail, A plus two equals Works, B plus one equals Works, B plus two equals Works, and it’s just this specific mix of computer and graphics card that doesn’t function. Probably means there’s a hardware issue...
Check the power requirements for both setups. The NVIDIA recommends 650 watts for the 4070 model.
Current setup uses a 600W power supply. Previously, an RX Vega 56 required more power than the 4070, mainly due to its higher TDP.
consider changing the PSU, just keep swapping all power cables too—because even from the same maker they aren't always identical on the PSU side. (don’t risk damaging your systems.) Or install a new PSU with the 4070 in. You’ll still have to replace all power cables if both units are modular or semi-modular.
