The GPU memory clock speed remains fixed.
I was experimenting with my Sapphire R9 270x overclock settings in the AMD's new control center.
I set the speeds to 1200 clock speed and 1550 memory clock speed, then attempted to increase it to 1600 MHz.
It froze at that level. I tried resetting the settings through AMD's control center, but they still showed 1600 and didn't move further down.
I added afterburner to check if it would help, but it didn't.
Have I damaged my GPU?

Reset all the settings in CCS or Radeon Crimson. Go into the control panel and reset them.
