The GPU isn't functioning properly.
I own a used GTX 650, but it wouldn't function properly on my PC. Whenever I tried to play games, it would freeze and crash, leaving me with no options but to shut it down. I discovered a workaround by using MSI Afterburner to underclock the GPU, which resolved the issue temporarily. Now that my PC restarts and everything seems normal, I reinstalled Windows and let it download drivers automatically. After updating the drivers, the problem disappeared completely. I recently tried launching Rocket League and it worked smoothly, with the game minimizing automatically and displaying small blue and pink icons on the desktop. The screen turned light blue, then green, and eventually sky blue. I also noticed that on the first day it worked, I could play Fall Guys without any issues. My system specs include an i5-2400 CPU, integrated Intel HD 2000 GPU, a 1GB GTX 650, and the motherboard is a Zebronics H61 LGA 1155 with 1.6GB RAM. The power supply supports the GTX 650 as well.
The PSU should work fine with the GTX 650. The problem seems to be a GPU defect. You might want to check for errors using OCCT, though it probably won't help much.
