The GPU isn't functioning at its optimal level.
Hi, I recently assembled my PC three weeks ago and it functioned perfectly until now. While playing Minecraft, I achieved around 2500 fps. After switching to Forza Horizon 5, the game behaved differently and didn’t run smoothly. I suspect the GPU wasn’t utilizing its full potential. I reset all AMD settings and refreshed the graphics drivers, but nothing improved. I also changed the Windows power plan from balanced to high, yet performance remained poor. The GPU fans stopped spinning completely. I’m unsure what to do next. Here are my specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/mooooooooo...ved/DL3L7P Thanks for your help!
You may wish to capture a snapshot of your GPU and CPU activity while playing, and then provide it to us.
I had to turn off the integrated graphics on my own Ryzen 7000 CPU because certain games and applications worked better without it. You might want to try this approach.
I've typically executed the DDU in regular mode without any problems. It's worth a shot.
It's not a bottleneck since the CPU is also underused. The GPU seems to be running at a low voltage or isn't drawing power efficiently. An 88W setting is quite low for a 7800XT. Was this checked while you were playing? Because the FPS is zero, which means it's not active (like during real gameplay, not during a load screen).
