It seems uncertain but appears the device is fully seated. You can't force it further because the bracket reaches the case. Everything is working smoothly for about two weeks without issues. I noticed this while addressing my earlier standoff issue. I could mount it vertically, but I favor a horizontal look. Concern: could this affect the card over time? There's always some wiggle room on connectors to give tolerance for variances in manufacturing and assembly. That looks fine to me. The important thing is that the card is sitting flat in the slot, not at an angle. That way you know its contacts aren't bridging pins together inside the slot.
