Recently I was working on an HP RP5800 desktop (essentially an elite 8200 for POS integrators) and everything ran smoothly until I needed to update the BIOS to enable support for the CPU I planned to upgrade. After updating, the system displayed unusual behavior. It would power on, spin up all fans at full speed for about 30 seconds, then immediately launch into Windows without a post-screen. Following that, it wouldn’t display any progress and seemed frozen. Once I removed all my upgrades one by one, except the GPU (which is a GTX 745), the PC functioned correctly. But when I reinstalled the GPU, it would only boot once before restarting again, showing the same stuck issue. At this point, I’m stuck in this state—turning on but not progressing. Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.
