The GPU is not functioning properly.
You're starting from scratch with an MSI B550 Gen 3 and AMD Ryzen 5 5600G. Everything seems set up correctly, but the GPU isn't showing up in Device Manager. Check your PCIe slots, ensure the card is properly seated, and verify that the driver for the AMD Radeon XFX Swift RX6600 is installed. If it still doesn't appear, try updating the drivers or reinstalling the GPU.

Thank you for your assistance!
The GPU is new or used? Have you had another GPU installed before? Was the power connector connected correctly? When you say "it does nothing," do you mean the computer turns on but there’s no video display when connected to the GPU?
Verify Device Manager – list display adapters, Radeon HD graphics, turn them off, avoid removing them. Also, ensure you install the latest GPU driver from the manufacturer site or AMD site, or right-click Desktop and select AMD Radeon settings.
Make sure to download the AMD driver package once it appears in the device manager.
It's a 700W thermal unit compatible with 80 Plus, and it features a dual 6+2 PCIe connector.
