Hi there, I was experiencing some issues the other day when my PC displayed a black screen across all monitors. After rebooting, I realized the VGA debug LED was off. My system includes: - 2 x 32 GB RAM - Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS B450 PRO - AMD Ryzen 5600X - AMD Radeon 6700 - 550 W Corsair power supply (vs550) - One 2 TB HDD - One M.2 SSD I attempted several fixes: - Unplug and replug the GPU - Change the PCIe slot - Use a different PCIe cable on the power supply - Remove one RAM stick - Clear CMOS - Swapped GPUs, using the other in another PC - Switched PSU from the second PC to the main one So, having the main PC with the main GPU and the secondary PSU didn't work. Could anyone help identify the issue or suggest alternatives? At this point, I suspect the motherboard might be the problem, even though it seems contradictory since the secondary GPU functions properly. I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions.
Hi, I think the motherboard is likely the issue. Trying another AM4 board might help confirm if we found the culprit. If you have one nearby, it’s a clear idea, but you could also get a budget model from Amazon. If it turns out innocent, the worst outcome would be sending back the new board and moving on to other possibilities.
