Hi there, For about 5 months now, my PC will randomly stop working and restart itself, after that, the device manager shows an error code (ERROR 43) on my GPU. Checking the performance bar of the task manager also then does not read my GPU. During this period of ERROR 43 being present, the PC will have a glitchy display and the frame rate dramatically decreases. Games and large programs which require GPU input also cannot be opened. I have been researching how to fix this and I have done practically everything that I can think of. Each time this occurs I have done a power cycle, clean reinstalled the GPU drivers, disabled then enable the GPU, rolled back windows updates, deleted any programs which don't work with Nvidia graphics cards that can create an error 43, reinstalled the GPU and cleaned it of any dust, and updated the drivers. My final step each time is to completely shut off and unplug the computer and let it sit for around 5 days. I don't understand how, but this always seems to fix the problem, the GPU doesn't get an error 43 and I can play all games at decent frame rates without issues. The PC then glitches out after about a month and I have to go through this whole process again. I'm worried that it's a faulty GPU but I would like to know if there is something else that might be hindering the operation of this computer (something small and cheap). I have absolutely no idea what is going wrong with this PC but if anyone has any ideas on how I could fix it or what may be the issue, I would greatly appreciate some help. It might be due to a damaged CPU, faulty memory, or bad hardware. Try reinstalling drivers on all components since files can become corrupted. Your GPU could also be dead, causing low FPS and glitchy screens—consider replacing it with something like an RTX 3060 Ti. This video might be useful:
