I might consider using a card support and check the outcome.

It wouldn't cause any harm. Also, double-check that your PCIe cable isn't causing the card to bind. I noticed a possible problem while testing the support wire. Proceed with caution. I placed a non-conductive, non-abrasive item beneath the card just enough to prevent it from collapsing, perhaps even tilting it upward. Removed it once the slop was removed from the support cable. Correct length of the support wire is essential, along with ensuring it stays connected and doesn't disrupt connections or fans. Edited July 11, 2022 by An0maly_76 Updated with additional details

I removed the item again because it didn’t work. I found something from a user with a similar issue and plan to try adding washers to the motherboard standoffs.

I examined the PCIE slot more closely. It seems this component shouldn't be present.
