The GPU core clock cannot be overclocked until the boost is enabled.
I attempted to overclock my GT 730, and it performed well for GPU Memory clock but not for Core Clock. The GPU only boosts in boost mode, yet some games don’t trigger enough load to activate it. I’m not seeing the desired FPS or performance. Can someone suggest a way to always keep the GPU in boost mode or disable boost entirely? Thanks for the help 😀

Braxton Jensen asked about the issue where the GPU Core Clock doesn't overclock until boost is active. He mentioned trying to overclock his GT 730, which worked for GPU Memory clock but not Core Clock. He noted that in some games, the GPU load isn't high enough to trigger boost mode, and he's experiencing low FPS or inconsistent performance. He seeks advice on forcing the GPU to stay in boost mode continuously or disabling boost altogether.
Braxton Jensen asked about a problem where the GPU Core Clock doesn't increase even when clicking text boxes. He mentioned using a GT 730, overclocking it successfully for GPU Memory clock but not for Core Clock. He's experiencing low FPS in CS:GO and is unsure if forcing the GPU to boost mode or disabling it would help.
