chose to share this elsewhere felt better. Occasionally I was browsing YouTube when family visited, so I left my laptop to greet them briefly. It might have been 10 to 15 minutes. When I returned, the screen was off, I tried activating it by moving the mouse but it didn’t work. I restarted it, but the normal process failed. The motherboard displayed a GPU boot error, so I tried reseating it, resetting, and trying another slot. I opened the case to check for damage or loose components, but couldn’t determine the issue. The only positive sign is it still powers on, fans spinning during boot, though the error persists. Any suggestions? The GPU model is a 3060 Ti.

Are you looking for a separate GPU to check performance or troubleshoot issues? Did your CPU include graphics, so you removed the GPU and booted to confirm the problem is with the GPU? Have you observed unusual monitor behavior recently, such as shifting colors or strange lines, suggesting a potential GPU failure?

I do. the other components seem to be fine and no nothing to indicate my GPU could be failing prier to the crash. Everything seemed to be perfectly fine
