The Godfather game crashes while attempting to load saves.
The game fails to load previous saves, displaying a large black box and causing a crash immediately after character appearance. New characters can be created successfully, but save loading does not function. A legitimate copy was purchased with a registration code. Compatibility mode (Windows XP Service Pack 2) was utilized. The program was executed as an administrator. The 'movies' folder was renamed to 'movies_'. Restarting the PC was attempted.
Where was the legitimate copy purchased from? Have you checked their support pages to determine if it’s an issue on their end? Was it running on Windows XP Service Pack 2? What is the native operating system? Are other games experiencing similar issues?
