I'm working with a Gigabyte G27Q and attempting to activate freesync, though it remains unavailable. Some online sources suggest the NVIDIA control panel might be misleading about its support. Since you're using an AMD RX 6950 XT, I wonder if driver updates are necessary or how to proceed. The settings menu shows freesync premium disabled, and a screenshot from the Amd Adrenaline section confirms it isn't supported. Let me know if you need further details!

Freesync needs support for both HDMI and DP per RTINGS; however, since you're using HDMI, your next step should be to test the DP connection. If you have other cables of either type, don't hesitate to try them as well. The process of troubleshooting is key—experiment until you see a change and gain insight.

It is noted that the item appears faded in the OSD.
