I have a Gigabyte B660M Gaming AX DDR4 motherboard with BIOS version F4 (latest version that I know of). I have a core I3 12100F CPU with a 3060ti from MSI. There is one M.2 NVME drive installed on the motherboard (A brand new gen 3x4 drive from Sabrent). I cannot boot into windows 10 or 11 from a USB drive no matter what I do. I have created windows boot media using the windows media creation tool (for windows 10 and 11), and I have tried booting from the ISO from the media creation tool and loading it onto a USB drive using Rufus. I have reset the CMOS. I have tried enabling/disabling CSM. Fast boot is disabled. I have a 16gb ram kit, so I tried removing one of the ram sticks. No luck. I am out of ideas. Is there anything else that I can try to get this pc to boot into windows from a usb?
Did you set the USB drive in the first place in the boot options? If not, add it to the menu and then position it at the top. Alternatively, locate the specific key combination for your motherboard brand, as they vary, to access the boot menu where you can select your preferred boot source.
Have you explored another USB port? I possess several that don’t boot properly even when functioning correctly elsewhere.
I accessed the boot menu and chose "UEFI USB," yet no changes occurred on the display. I waited several minutes, but nothing appeared.
