I also discovered this. I didn't do thorough research on 2 rank Ryzen components. I managed a bit and everything works fine at 2800 14-16-16-32-1T. My options are to settle for that or upgrade to 16GB single rank higher clocks, or give it a shot with 4 single rank sticks. Decisions...
Hey again, thanks for your feedback. Ivan, this motherboard BIOS setup isn't something I've encountered before. I'm a bit confused about what to do since I've seen many discussions where RAM matches mine and the issue is the motherboard, or vice versa. Regarding the topic, the stock SOC voltage appears to be 1.020 volts. Your question is whether the SOC voltage is connected to the infinity fabric. Also, some people mention that the infinity fabric should support higher RAM speeds—my RAM is rated at 3200MHz, and the fabric is supposed to go up to 1600MHz. That suggests it might need more power since it's currently at 1200MHz. Honestly, I'd prefer it to run at its rated speeds right now because I've already paid for it. I plan to try running it manually over the weekend. If nothing improves, I'll just return the motherboards next Monday morning. Also, is it safe to use RAM below 1.45V? I don't want to risk damaging them if I have to return them for RMA. Thanks in advance! Take care.
