I recently received a 1000/100 internet connection and could previously achieve up to 500-600. After installing a new CAT6 cable, it now shows 600. My Xbox Series X reports 900/100 on speedtest. I’m using an ASUS Rog Strix Z370-H motherboard, which claims full 1000/1000, but it isn’t working. I’ve spent hours searching online and disabling settings in Device Manager without success.
Have you explored the newest LAN driver for your motherboard? The one available on the ASUS website instead of the standard CD version.
I might attempt it, but I also want to explore other solutions since that’s not my goal.

I just changed the BIOS on my motherboard. I realized earlier I gave a computer to a friend with fiber, and everything worked fine then. Could be an issue with my ISP.
