I just received a new build from MicroCenter. Here’s the list of components: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Asus TUF gaming, B650-E, Wi-Fi, G.Skill 32G 2x DDR5-6000 CL36, Radeon RX 7900 XTX, PNY 1TB Gen5, NVMe SSD, Corsair RM750X, FM 80+ Gold ATX 3.1, Thermal Right Peerless Assassin 120SE. Everything is installed and running smoothly in my tech setup. The problem I’m facing is that after installing Windows 11 Pro and updating the BIOS, my Ethernet speeds cap at around 90MBPS. This is unusual because on campus I see speeds near 950MBPS when using the same cable as my old Acer Predator. I wondered if the university might be throttling my connection, since registration is required for devices but I never registered my old laptop and still got such high speeds. I contacted MicroCenter, the manufacturer, asking if they could assist and they suggested uninstalling all network devices in Device Manager and restarting the PC. Even after that, the speeds remained low. They advised bringing the laptop back in but noted it would be a long drive. I suspect this might be a software issue that could be resolved without traveling. In Windows settings, the PC recognizes my network as 1000/1000, though actual speeds appear around 100/100. I have some screenshots of the latest drivers, the current speeds, and the Windows settings menu showing these numbers. What should I do next? Any tips or fixes would be appreciated.

It's unclear which older driver to use, but you can check the link provided for details. Make sure to pick the right OS if you're using W11 or W10.

Hi there, thanks for the feedback. I've tested both options and both resulted in similar slow performance, so I went back to the latest driver updates.

I have no ideas left, you might attempt some CMD tricks to resolve it, but that's all.
