The gaming monitor cuts off all power in the house.
I purchased an AOC Q27G2S 27" gaming monitor with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync support. It offers 165Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time, with a resolution of 2560x1440. After returning home from work, I was thrilled to receive it, but upon plugging it in, the power went out in my apartment. I tried using another outlet, but the issue persisted. Could anyone assist or clarify what might be causing this problem? The monitor box and its side are also in question.
The issue lies with your neighbors being difficult, plus you lack a separate structure for connection. I've tested various outlets and only managed to power the monitor.
the power brick could be defective. for testing, obtain a different brick from another monitor, verify its voltage—typically between 14 to 19 volts. avoid anything below 14 volts or above the specified range on the original brick. also, ensure the connector matches the original.
