Hi. I thought I’d give my new graphics card a try with some Doom. I remember the 2016 release—its music was really great when the hordes arrived, heavy style metal that kept your heart racing. The track on Eternal is solid but without drums; it’s more atmospheric than anything else. It doesn’t quite match the intensity of the original. I saw some debate about whether there should be a proper soundtrack or just these ambient sounds. Also, I read about a map issue, but it’s not a repetitive sound and isn’t very engaging. Is this just how it is?

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Are you asking if there's some bug that changes the music from the style you liked in Doom 2016 to the style you don't like as much in Doom Eternal? Are you asking if there's some option to change the in game music? The "argument" you read something about probably has to do with a controversy where Bethesda had in-house audio guy do the final mixes of the Doom Eternal soundtrack instead of Mick Gordon and then Mick Gordon came out after release and said the mixes Bethesda had done in house were bad. Bethesda responded they had no choice because Gordon kept missing deadlines to finish it.

I've seen that too. Essentially, I'm looking for heavy metal tracks with a strong bass and driving drums, similar to the 2016 version—something that really elevated the vibe. I'm only halfway through, but I'm holding my breath for that iconic drop!
