Hello, this is my initial visit to the forum and I'm seeking advice about why certain games behave this way. Specifically, some older source games, particularly direct X titles like Lego Star Wars TCS or Arkham Asylum, usually work fine when set as windowed with a borderless layout. However, they tend to crash into fullscreen, causing a black screen on the PC. This issue seems mostly to occur with Blizzard games or those developed by Blizzard, starting with Modern Warfare and later affecting Overwatch, which functioned properly last year.

My system specifications are as follows:
- FX-9590
- Corsair Vengeance 1666 mhz x 4
- FX-990FXA UD5
- MSI 4gb 290X

This problem didn't occur when I first set up the PC, but it has become a significant obstacle that blocks me from playing with friends. Additionally, the PC remains active during this time while everything else freezes on screen.

The CPU is being cooled by water and operates below 70 degrees. It's an 850 Watt EVGA BQ model. It might be related to the power supply unit, but it hasn't stopped working or had issues with stable temperatures over time.
