hello, i'm new and just upgraded my pc from a ryzen 5 3600 and gtx 1660 to a ryan 5 7600 and gpu rtx 4070. recently though, i've faced crash issues with demanding games. i tried reinstalling all drivers but nothing worked. what should i do? is it a bottleneck or something else? my build includes: cpu ryan 5 7600, gpu rtx 4070, ram kongston fury 5200, 2x8gb, asus teknik inc., prime b650-pplus (am5).
For instance in Forza Horizon 5 I see temperatures around 66-68°C on the GPU, 98% CPU usage with 40% usage for the CPU cooling, and 76-80°C on the CPU with the Coler Master liquid cooler featuring two fans.
I had the identical PSU too, and it caused my PC to crash during games. They offered a replacement. It also failed while gaming, though benchmarks worked fine. If you play a game, the PSU seems unstable. Switching to another brand with the same power fixed the issue completely.
After the BIOS update, it’s no longer crashing (hope that helps). Right now I’m still playing Forza Horizon 5 at the same settings and usage, and so far there’s no signs of a crash. I’ll keep you posted.
