I wasn't sure where to share this, but it looks like the right section for it. Recently, my PC has been having problems. GTA V keeps glitching, and other games won’t start properly. I recently installed new RAM, but the issues started later, so it’s not that. Here’s a screenshot of the problems when trying to launch Rainbow 6 Siege or Fortnite. If you have any ideas on how to fix this or suspect something is wrong, please let me know.

It seems the problem might be linked to a memory issue, possibly from a recent RAM upgrade. Would you consider reinstalling Windows?

For a complete reset, yes. If you're just clearing Windows settings, it won't affect other files. I recommend starting with a reset before considering a full reinstall.

It might make sense to remove the old RAM if you're replacing it with a newer one.

It wouldn't hurt. Doing that and things resuming normally would point to a RAM problem.

I handled it, everything functioned properly now. I think I’ll return the unit and order a replacement. Good to hear it was only the RAM issue—it’s been frustrating.

RAM compatibility varies a lot, even in 2020. If you intend to purchase another set later, make sure it appears on the approved vendor list provided by your motherboard maker.
