I've been using Windows 11 for about three to four years now. Everything functioned perfectly on the original system. My CPU was overclocked and it performed exceptionally well. The problem doesn't seem related to hardware issues during a case swap—it wouldn’t have started up or just kept failing. The main concern is with the games themselves. I played two League of Legends matches without any issues, but anything beyond that causes problems. Cyberpunk crashes entirely, while temperatures are normal and everything else seems fine. Marvel Rivals is more complicated; I either encounter an engine error or the PC freezes, forcing me to restart the whole machine.
Activated HDR to see the improvement. The app mentions: increasing this setting will make the image brighter and sharper. Enable Auto HDR in the settings.
I installed the games on another NVMe drive. Marvel Rivals starts faster, runs more smoothly, and offers better graphics. My motherboard can't handle Gen4 NVMe yet—it only supports Gen4 with the one I used before. The game I’m using now is Gen3 and it’s functioning well. Tomorrow I’ll test swapping my Gen4 drive into the first slot to check for improved performance. If that doesn’t help, I’ll probably upgrade to a B550 chip, which I’ve found at a good price and could resolve some issues I’ve been facing. PCIe 4.0 is also beneficial for my older 4070ti that’s been idle for too long.
