I don’t understand the cause of this problem because I just set up the system without much technical experience. Here are the details of my setup:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 3.4ghz with stock cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi (rev 1.0) full ATX board
RAM: 8GB x2 of Gskill Ripjaws V 3200MHz
SSD: WD Blue 1TB
GPU: MSI Radeon Armor Rx580 8GB
PSU: Thermaltake Smart 700W 80+ white
I’ve played Rainbow Six Siege and COD Warzone and it crashes at different stages—either with black screen in Warzone, then it freezes or crashes, or on R6s. I think the GPU might be the issue since I got it from a friend who reported problems, though it could also be related to DirectX 11. I’ve tried benchmarking on DirectX 11 without any crashes, but maybe it’s a DirectX 12 or GPU problem. I’ve updated chipset drivers, didn’t update BIOS because it’s the latest version and should work with the newest Ryzen, and I have the latest Radeon drivers installed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You might consider going back to the drivers at 20.4.2 since it’s the recommended option and appears to be the most stable right now. That’s the only alternative I can suggest.
