There is already an existing discussion about this, but I was asked to begin fresh. The issue is that the game doesn't start directly from the NVMe drive if no SATA/HDD port is detected. When a SATA drive reconnects to one of the SATA ports, the launch works properly.
I wonder if someone at Valve or with access to the game engine could help fix this problem?

Is the problem limited to CSGO?
If you can't verify, I recommend trying another game and checking if it works.
This might seem simple, but I understand that connecting an M.2 drive to a computer and then linking an HDD to the "Free" SATA port intended for the M.2 could prevent the system from recognizing or functioning with the drive.

Other games function properly alongside NVMe, aside from CSGO. The issue was highlighted in the link I shared. I prefer not to rely on a fake SATA SSD.
