I'm having trouble playing the game at a different resolution. My standard resolution stays locked, and the game keeps restarting until I switch back. The files you mentioned don't seem to help. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

No resolution found. The question asks about changes to resolutions and their reasons, but no specific context or document was provided.

You're experiencing issues with CSGO after switching to a stretched resolution. The game doesn't launch properly and sometimes crashes when trying different resolutions, except for your standard 2560x1440 setting. This is likely due to compatibility problems with the stretched resolution or settings in the NVIDIA control panel.

It might be the underlying reason. Cleaning reinstalls drivers can reset settings back to their default state from the driver's perspective.
