Hey everyone, Warzone keeps freezing for me and I don’t know what else to try. It seems to happen without warning too. The game freezes, the screen goes black, then it restarts. It’s stuck on my main monitor, but I can still use my PC on my secondary display. However, I can’t close the game with alt f4 and when I press alt tab out, I can’t close it using Task Manager either. The task manager doesn’t even indicate that the game is running. The only solution to get it to stop is a full PC restart. I’ve updated the drivers, BIOS, disabled OC on CPU and GPU, scanned and repaired files, uninstalled and reinstalled everything onto my SSD, and cleared temporary files. My setup includes a Ryzen 7 2700x, MSI RTX 2070, 32 GB of 3200 RAM, an ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus motherboard with a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, and an EVGA 700-watt PSU. Other games I’ve played after the freezes—like Minecraft, 7 Days to Die, CS:GO, and PUGB—run perfectly fine, as do userbenchmark tests. Is it possible that this latest Warzone update is causing issues for some users? And if reinstalling fixes the problem, why does it still bother me? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks, guys.
Which PSU model are you inquiring about? It seems unlikely to be a premium Evga unit. You might want to check the crystaldiskinfo for details on potential drive failures.
It's the EVGA 700 GD. I'm planning to download the CrystaldiskInfo right away to test it. Appreciate the recommendation!
