I recently purchased a new laptop and encountered a problem while reinstalling my games on it. The issue was with Doom Eternal, mainly because it seems to be limited to 6 FPS. I've adjusted settings in the nVidia Control Panel, GeForce Experience, and Windows 10's default graphics menu, reduced graphics options to their lowest levels, tried windowed and borderless modes, shut down background processes, and even activated technical feedback. The GPU appears to be barely working while the CPU stays red. It seems my laptop might be using its built-in chipset instead of the nVidia graphics card. I've attempted to force the game to use the graphics card directly, but it still doesn't respond properly. I'm quite frustrated and would appreciate advice from others who have faced the same issue. My 2016 laptop with a 970M GTX card runs smoothly at medium-high settings, so this new machine should be much more demanding.
