I've been using the new Batman Game for a few hours now, and I'm curious about how it feels. If I hadn't enabled the FPS counter in FRAP, I wouldn't have realized it was capped at 30 frames per second. My eyes tend to pick up low frame rates and stuttering, but this game doesn't feel that slow. In Witcher 3 I did a similar test and noticed the same issue, though it didn't stand out much. Maybe it's because of better frame timing? What do you think? I'm just looking for an open discussion without jumping into a console vs PC debate.

If it were secured, adjusting the maximum FPS setting wouldn't be possible. It isn't locked; the cap is fixed at 30 frames per second.

Other titles run better with lower frame rates. For instance, Arma 2 OA works well at 20 FPS, while Borderlands becomes nearly impossible at that setting. Also, around 30 FPS can actually improve performance in some games—something PCMR didn't realize...

Navigate to the bmysettings, locate the MAXFPS setting, and adjust its value from 30 to 9999.

The process adjusts accordingly by setting the value to zero.

I believe others might not grasp the main idea of my post. While you can adjust the INI files and modify the FPS Max Limit, I'm simply highlighting that this game actually runs quite smoothly at 30 FPS. WolfysTech has a valid observation—some titles seem more fluid at lower frame rates.

You take control and dive into the modding world (just kidding, but it sounds fun!)

depends on how each person sees things, I suppose. You might not even notice it, but some won't enjoy that smooth 60+ gameplay. Those who are used to fluid experiences will definitely be affected by the lower frame rates. Even after patching and aiming for 60 fps, some will still grumble or just want to jump into the action to stand out. They don’t really care about the whole situation—they just want to be in the spotlight right now. Thanks for sharing your honest take, no matter how tense the conversation gets.
