Notice how poorly AMD's DX11 driver performs. The R9 290X paired with 4770k doesn't lose around 20 fps compared to 970 + 4770k since the 290X runs slower than the GTX 970. However, the driver limits the i7's capabilities, preventing it from operating at full potential.

It seems you're planning to return to CS:GO once you can upgrade your hardware, especially since your current setup is limited to AMD components. That’s a common challenge in the game!

Keep it low-key, okay? I'm not sure if the H100i is set up right since Link isn't showing the pump. It looks like my CPU and GPU are working fine, but I haven't tried overclocking before. I'm just happy with the stock performance on this CPU.

I totally get it... and see how the FX-8350 is capping the GTX 970's performance... that’s not amusing at all. It seems AMD isn’t just for budget gamers, but also for people who care about smooth gameplay—this thing is chugging along at 4.7GHZ!

I prefer 100% at 80 degrees because I don’t mind the noise as long as it stays cool ^^ I usually get about 70% at 50-60 degrees, and that’s what I’m experiencing now. The fan profile I got from another owner said he typically has around 60 degrees but didn’t mention his games, so 80 is okay. I don’t seem to play much, so I’ll be leaving. Gl/hf and have a great day.
