Hello everyone Here are my details: Motherboard ASUS B760-i gaming wifi with latest BIOS, CPU i7-14700kf, GPU Hellhound rx 7900 xtx (adrenalin 25.9.1), RAM 2x16GB G.Skill Ripjaws S5 DDR5 5600MHz, PSU Cooler Master ATX 850W 80+ gold (includes NR200P max v2 case), OS Windows 11. I’ve tested everything possible but CS2 keeps crashing—black screen appears, mouse cursor shows loading icon, game shuts down. Works the same with other Steam titles. Any advice?

Here are some troubleshooting steps:
- Reinstall graphics drivers cleanly
- Perform a full system wipe and reinstall your operating system, then install fresh drivers again
If the issue persists after a clean OS setup, consider checking hardware problems.

The recommended page file size for CS:GO is typically around 16-32 MB, depending on your system specs and usage.

You might be experiencing a typical hardware problem such as a failing component or insufficient power supply.

Settings, System, About, then advanced system settings appeared on the right. In the pop-up window, click the settings button under performance, then select the advanced tab in the new window. There, you’ll find Virtual Memory, which is your page file. CS2 retains some features from the original source engine, including storing certain files on the page file even when RAM is plentiful. This can lead to issues if the page file is too small or missing entirely. I experienced the same problem and am using a similar configuration (details below). When I booted up, Steam and Discord were open but only about 10GB of my 32GB was in use. I increased the page file size from 8 or 16GB to 32GB, which resolved the error and reduced crashes.

25.9.1 showed odd behavior on my card. Besides that, 25.8.1 works better too. Try running DDU in safe mode; this issue often appears on the first launch. After that, clean and restart, then install adrenalin 25.8.1 or earlier. I recommend changing the DDU setting to "prevent windows update from installing drivers" before launching ddu. Download DDU here: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5414

It doesn't launch properly unless it's run with admin rights. I tested some benchmark maps after switching to admin mode, and everything functioned correctly. However, I'm having trouble playing the game because VAC can't detect signatures. That seems unusual.

I'll check the game files in Steam first. It seems there might be an issue, so do you have admin privileges on your account? Also, do you own the machine and is your profile set as the main account?
