your performance doesn't meet the requirements for stable 200+ source engine work. If you limit CS to 60 frames per second, it becomes completely unworkable. Running at 100 fps is extremely tough and won't even support 128 tick servers, you'd likely face serious issues.
I’ll keep my frames near 120, ensuring I’m past the 75Hz refresh rate and making abrupt frame changes less obvious.
I've done a lot of tweaking on my system, and now it's performing better than ever. The Phenom II B55 is running at 4153.5MHz - 2555MHz NorthBridge with an HT Link at 2130MHz and an 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury Blue 1708MHz OC. It's a pretty strong overclock for this model, and I'm checking if it makes a difference in CSGO.
Significant improvement compared to earlier versions... now exceeding the 90 threshold! This is DM Dust 2 and it really pushed things. Performance metrics: frames, time (ms), min, max, avg are 14549, 85046, 118, 335, 171.072.
