I tried to figure out what might be causing the performance issues with Guilty Gear Strive. It seems like the game is dropping frames and running slow, but I'm not sure which part of my computer needs fixing. My GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB of memory, and I have an Intel i5-6600K CPU running at 3.50GHz with 16GB of RAM.

Have you ever played anything other than that one game? Is this an issue that affects all games or just this particular one?

I play many games, but frame drops happen mainly in Guilty Gear Strive and Apex Legends.

It might be a unique feature found only in those two games, while others don’t have it. They likely use different render engines, which is why they’re both new.

Apex Legends runs on a 15-year-old engine, the same one used in Half-Life. Guilty Gear utilizes Unreal Engine 4.

Legacy engine systems are being used instead of modern alternatives. There might be updates planned for the developers.
