Hi, my PC has been running for about three years without any major problems until recently. Around Christmas I upgraded the GPU from an RX590 to an RX6750XT, moving from 1080p to 1440p resolution. The gaming experience was solid until I started seeing occasional stutters, especially in Valorant. This issue is really bothersome—it happens even when frames appear stable, and it seems completely random. My audio also tends to cut out or lag by about five seconds. I’ve tried plugging and unplugging the USB cable, using an audio interface, and even reinstalling Windows via USB, but it doesn’t fix the problem. I’ve seen similar stuttering in other games like Insurgency Sandstorm, but not in Cyberpunk. To try to solve it, I disassembled the computer and re-seated everything, ran AMD Cleanup Utility, checked all drivers, and attempted a fresh Windows USB install. The issue persists despite these steps. The PC functions normally otherwise. Any advice would be greatly appreciated—I’m quite confused.

PC specs:
GPU – RX 6750 XT
CPU – Ryzen 3700X
RAM – 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL SSD
Storage – 1TB Western Digital SSD
Motherboard – Corsair RM750X
PCIe – M.2 slot
Power supply – Corsair RM750X
Software – Windows 10/11 (latest)

Thanks for your time!

Enable the option to turn off hardware acceleration for GPU scheduling. Adjust display settings under graphics. Set default graphics preferences accordingly.

I don’t have any alternative. I can choose an app to "set a preference," and it seems only online games are impacted.

Open the search bar by pressing Windows Key + S, enter "graphics settings," and select it. Disable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.

as demonstrated in the screenshot, there is no way to enable hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling.

Windows 10 Pro, a friend asked me to accomplish this task. I don’t notice any missing updates at the moment.
